Glenda, as she is affectionately known by fans in her native Cuba; is an award winning fourth generation jazz musician (flute)/composer/singer widely respected by critics as the 'new sound of Cuban jazz'. Only 26 years old, still her legacy and circle of players includes some of the most recognized names in Cuban music for the past 50 years, including: Habana de Primera, Jesus 'Aguaje' Ramos (Trombone Player & Band leader of Buena Vista Social Club), and Bellita (Cuba's foremost Jazz Pianist) and many more.

Discovered internationally only recently in early 2014; Glenda is now being being produced by Danton Supple (Coldplay, Morrissey, Patti Smith & Ian Brown etc.) and co-writing/collaborating with former Motown Music veteran Alan Roy Scott who has also written with international talents including: Celine Dion, Cher, Allman Brothers & Jonny Mathis etc. on her debut LP, in Havana, Cuba at Abdala Studio's (the studio where Buena Vista Social Club recorded their epic albums) her debut yet to be titled-LP is due out in Fall 2015.

Within the past year alone Glenda has already appeared on stage with modern day Jazz legends including; Jamie Cullum, Bernard Fowler (Herbie Hancock), and Darryl Jones (Miles Davis/Rolling Stones), not to mentioned a few rock'n'rollers including the likes of Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy), Richard Fortis and Dizzy Reed (Guns'n'Roses).

Glenda will be performing/showcasing select dates throughout Europe and Latin America in the summer of 2015; her music is quickly becoming synonymous with fresh and definitive sound that only Cuban musicians are known for around the globe- but readily available for the masses as its performed widely in English fused with Spanish...Welcome to the nu-sound of Cuban jazz.
